    What is it?

The water cycle is not the same thing as a jet ski! The water cycle is the process in nature that recycles fresh water. The water cycle is an ongoing process, so it really does not have a beginning and an end.

    Give me an example!

Water molecules in lakes, streams, rivers, and oceans become heated by the sun until evaporation turns them into clouds of water vapor. These clouds drift around and eventually run into colder masses of air which cause condensation to occur, which makes the water vapor into droplets of water or crystals of ice (depending on how cold it is). These droplets or crystals then fall to earth as precipitation and run into lakes, streams, rivers, and oceans and the water cycle repeats itself.
